Swim Lessons

H&L Pools is a proud sponsor of SAI's Starfish Swim School and Starfish Stroke School swimming curriculum. This program is unique in that each stage consists of benchmark skills each student must achieve before graduating to the next stage. Also, each student will learn a safety skill benchmark in each stage to better educate them on water safety. Each student will be given a personal record book (PR) to keep track of their progress throughout each stage.

The Starfish Swim School program is designed for those just starting out. The Chart on the Right are the stages and the benchmark skills the students must achieve before moving on to the next stage.

The Starfish Stroke School program is designed for those that have mastered the Starfish Swim School program and focuses more on stroke development and refinement. This program is also used to prepare students to join a swim team. Refer to the Chart on the right for more information.

Lessons Offered:
Group Lessons – This class will have up to 6 students per 1 instructor. Typically there are 5, 45-minute classes in a session.
Semi Private Lessons – This class will have 2-3 students per 1 instructor. This is ideal for siblings or relatives. Typically there are 10, 30-minute classes in a session.
Private Lessons – This class will have 1 student per 1 instructor. Typically there are 10, 30-minute classes in a session.
